"Europe’s leading female competition specialists gathered in Brussels yesterday to mark the launch of the Women’s Competition Network.

The initiative, led by Sidley Austin LLP, is the first of its kind in Brussels. While similar networks exist in individual member states, delegates welcomed the launch of a pan-European group.

At the event, held under the Chatham House Rule, delegates discussed the importance of having a female support network in place in what continues to be a male-dominated field, where many double standards continue to exist. Delegates stressed the importance of fostering young female talent, regardless of whether such opportunities were extended to them..."
